Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink

Do you think Warnock at 70 plus will want to drag his @rse up and down the country watching players
Come on , you know that is not what I am suggesting . He would oversee that , do the whitling down , and reduce the risks . Worth his weight in gold ,someone who knows his stuff , and he knows his stuff , by the old way , of watching them live.

As a number two, learning from Warnock, maybe. But he's a strong character and an individualist - I can't see it working.
He's not experienced enough to come straight in as manager - we've tried this before and it hasn't worked in the current game.
Can we just hire his boots?

Not experienced ?
8 years as a manager .

I see your point, but is that enough at this level? Where was Warnock 8 years into his career and how would that compare to him at his best?
After managing Burton he took Scarborough into the football league after 7 years. He then took Notts County from third to the old first division in successive seasons (at our expense in the '91 play offs!)

Warnock is a one off to compare him to ?
He has 8 years experience , more than
Woodgate
Bryan Robson
Karanka
McLaren
And a few more .
We can only guess and discuss , because only SG will know what his plan is , and then , wether JFH is part of that plan .

One of my favourite players ever Jimmy. Responsible for the two of the greatest goals I've seen live, the free kick against Man City away and the header against Roma away. Met him and the whole team in Athens airport after the Egaleo game (one of 300 fans) and he was class crack as well. Wish him all the best of luck as manager.

Don't forget his hand ball goal against the Skunks :)
