No money for schools, health, hospitals, social care, childhood poverty, fair pay for the public sector, railways, waterways or anything else that would be of benefit to our communities.

40 effing billion and Cleverly had a cheek to stand up and try and grandstand and say Labour where being "ideological" which is a word I have heard creeping into the political lexicon in recent days. I mean, the entire policy was built around ideology and isolationism brought on by their populist rhetoric, but the Tories and suspect in the coming days members of their client press will be trying to fling mud about Labours ideological decision making. Infuriating!!!!!

As someone said above this could give Labour a decent bit of wiggle room in spending for some things, I expect it is the tip of the iceberg and we can expect a number of savings from various moth brained schemes the Tories had.

I suspect that this figure will not have been advertised anywhere and definitely not accounted for by the Tories. So, despite Labour uncovering it when they get full access to Government accounts it is not really a saving they can claim. what they can push is how the Tory Government lied to the Public, but, that path is so heavily worn will anybody actually take any notice.
