Oh trust you to be Negative NosmoGibbo loses a few more from his fan club.Lazy unimaginative appointments in keeping with a man who has lost his way over the years. Best chairman? What a joke.( if true)
Agnew was very harshly judged when he took over from Karanka IMO....he was on a hiding to nothing really.
We were already in dire straights and the position we were in the league' he had to try and win some games and change the mindset of an ultra defensive squad. We were very close to getting out of it but the damage had already been done. Performances improved for sure
No they didn't really, we were woeful. If there's any truth in this it is utter idiocy.Agnew was very harshly judged when he took over from Karanka IMO....he was on a hiding to nothing really.

It was stick or twist for Agnew with a very poor squad, he twisted and it didn't quite work out, confidence was shot and he had an impossible task in the end. I watched it unfold with my own eyes and he actually did OK.At what point were we very close to getting out of it?
He took over with us 3 points from safety.
That then became 5 points after his first game, 7 in his 3rd, 9 in his 6th.
Our one win under him against Sunderland left us 6 points from safety with 4 games left.
We picked up 1 point in those 4 games.
Performances were worse than they had been under Karanka.
We scored no more goals than we had before, but conceded more.
We were shipped 4 goals against another relegation bound team in Hull.
All I’ve heard is hearsay and rumours coming out of the u23s nothing concrete, Cattermole wasn’t mentioned but I believe Rico in what he says.I also have links to Cattermole and have heard **** all for balance.
Facts, points, league table all proved he was a disaster and I went to games that were treacherous. Far worse than karanka... but I think your fishingIt was stick or twist for Agnew with a very poor squad, he twisted and it didn't quite work out, confidence was shot and he had an impossible task in the end. You can spout points and goals conceded all-day long but I doubt you actually went to the games so don't know how it unfolded....
Thanks
You had a few? Don't talk cack, man. You're better than thatAgnew and Leo will be his assistants.
A fraud ? He's a respected coach with shed loads of experience, wash your beak out please ChickenAgnew is another fraud - should be nowhere near the club after being “manager” when AK left. As for LC becoming manager now
He’s rubbish - so probably a perfect fit for us in Gibson’s bookA fraud ? He's a respected coach with shed loads of experience, wash your beak out please Chicken
It wasn't treacherous at all, we actually had a go at teams under Agnew, something Karanka was scared to do. He played Negredo upfront and isolated like a lighthouse which was scandalous.Facts, points, league table all proved he was a disaster and I went to games that were treacherous. It's all very 'meh' it suggests to me he's the very epitome of a northern journeyman first team coach.......A fraud ? He's a respected coach with shed loads of experience, wash your beak out please Chicken
Yeah and some of you aren't as good at this as you used to be, too obvious and too nonsensical. It wasn't treacherous at all, we actually had a go at teams under Agnew, something Karanka was scared to do. He played Negredo upfront and isolated like a lighthouse which was scandalous.
Agnew tried to get the ballers on the pitch to support him like Downing who was frozen out under Karanka, it was a breath of fresh air in a desperate season.....some of you have short memories or you didn't actually attend
