Isaiah Jones

He is a good player and a great asset , still very young and growing in every way , I can see why there is interest from premier league teams.
I would love him to stay , but feel that a decent bid would be accepted to give us the funds for MC to get his choices in .
£12m-£15m and he will go with my blessing , I think we should not stop him wanting to achieve better things , IF an offer comes in that meets our valuation ,especially if he gets the chance to go back South with reported interest from WHU and Palace.
Brentford , Bournemouth, Southampton and Fulham would be a great fit for him too. We will soon see .

I hope the ‘pass sideways and safe’ brigade don’t drive him away. We lack creativity at times and he can provide it on his day. Sometimes teams do a job on him, sometimes he’s quiet but plenty of times he makes the difference.

Just because he can open things up and win matches doesn’t mean the critical spotlight should be on him and him alone.
It's a really good point. The lack of any creativity in the middle (or anywhere, maybe Giles now and again) means teams can stop us if they stop Jones. It's not that IJ has been found out but our lack of creativity anywhere else
The new formation takes a little pressure off him, and gave him space a few times last night

I was really disappointed yet again with him today, I honestly don't understand why he's so static or fearful of trying to go past his man.

Thought he was brilliant today but also pretty bad at times - that just seems to be the way he is, I guess if he was always brilliant he would be playing in the prem. Their manager, like lots before him, said he was a real threat all game and he had some great runs and that one fantastic flick but then other times he gave the ball away cheaply

Because he was, he stood around waiting for the ball rather than receiving it at pace and spent most of the first half not tracking back. He's been poor all season for me.

Shockingly bad today. Never seemed interested. I see a few on here thought he was decent. Everyone I spoke to after a match(about a dozen) thought he was poor.

Jones was excellent today.....he was our main threat going forward and helps take the team up the pitch, causing real problems for their defence. Without him and Howson in the team we would struggle to create any scoring opportunities.
