Is Tyson Fury a fraud?

Fury won't entertain Whyte. What better time to face Whyte after he's coming back after a heavy knockout a couple of months ago. I seriously think Fury will get beat as soon as he has to face mandatory opponents. That's as long as he doesn't retire to avoid them.
 
Just to note. Kabayel has sensed they are desperate to fight him so is holding out for more money. If they don't get Kabayel they'll have to opt for someone even less credible.
 
I see Whyte wont entertain Chisora. European level fighter at short notice. If hes ready for Fury surely hes ready for Chisora?

Whyte has entertained Chisora twice and beat him both times. Last time by conclusive knockout. The fight would also be meaningless and wouldn't really make business sense either. Chisora has just been beaten for the 10th time less than a week ago.

Agree regarding Chisora being a poor opponent i class him as no more than european. 2 fights 1st was a close split and 2nd whyte was behind going into the 11th despite the points deductions. I think Whyte CV isnt great. He nearly lost in dubai on his comeback and since got ko’d. Rivas is no great shakes nor is parker (which he nearly lost). If he thinks he can fight fury why not take chisora (if he can win easily) to keep busy. Look at how badly fury beat chisora years ago conpared to Whyte fight with him. He knows it wouldnt be an easy night so wont take it

Whyte isn't looking to keep busy. His next fight is against Povetkin in January. The only fight he'd swap that for is a world title shot. It's just common sense. Eddie Hearn has actually said a third fight at the moment isn't viable and people would slate it. Sky also don't want it. But Fury v Whyte is a massive fight that would do well on pay per view. It makes sense for all concerned. But Fury is being protected. Hearn has said that fight could be on BT and a deal easily done.

It's not ideal but he's in the top 5 with the WBC and it would be a big pay per view fight. He was also mandatory for over two years so it's difficult to argue that he doesn't deserve a shot. I just can't understand why Fury wouldn't go for it. He should beat Whyte and it's good business. But Fury's model appears to be regularly picking easy opponents. In short, I think he's becoming a con job.
 
I bet iron mike wishes he was 20 right now , Christ he’d dominate until he got bored and took up walking tigers instead . He’d flatten the 3 best right now, one after another.

To be fair Mike Tyson is the most overated Heavyweight of all time.

I don’t think he’s a con job, you will see that when he fights Joshua but I do agree the quality of his interim opponents is questionable.
 
Fury is an excellent fighter, but it's hard to tell how good he really is. Including his fight in Dec his last seven fights will have been against five unknown fighters and Deontay Wilder twice. Wilder himself had also been protected which mean form lines are sketchy to say the least. Yes, Fury beat an aging Klitschko but that only stretches so far. You've got to move on from there and prove yourself against other contenders.

Ultimately Fury's avoidance of real contenders might be his undoing. I think AJ might get to him and stop him. Usyk could beat both.
