You could say the same about Leicester dont they hate Forest but Forest hate Derby and Derby hate Forest

If that is how their players treat every other game, they'd be a conference club by now.

They've taken 26 points from 27 league matches against us since the start of the PL era.

Maybe Mackems don't mind losing in general, but in that case, they're hardly passionate fans, are they?

I'm happy for Sunderland fans to keep playing it down, so long as they're happy for us to keep taking the points.

That's a better analogy than mine. Heard a fan preview of Forest v Leicester on Five Live last week, the presenter said to the Forest fan it's a derby game and her reply was' well they like to think it is!'
 
Tbh i dont think about them or even go out my way to see if theyve lost. Theyre a bit meh...just see them as rivals to playoff spot. Think its just a game to gain points from these days.
 
I’ll say again I’ve still never seen anywhere else do a pitch invasion for scoring an equaliser.

There's a lot of replies on that thread telling the naysayers that we are, and taking the time to type extensive replies saying they don't care, means that they actually do...a lot 🤣

We are not a derby, not in the North East, have 6 fingers on each hand and 2 heads, most of them don’t even know any Boro fans.
they’re a funny bunch, living in Newcastles shadow.
But they have lots of supporters though, I’ve never seen a clubs forum with so many threads about attendances. 🤣🤣

Who the **** are they kidding?!

They wear those smog outfits, sing about taking the holgate, sing they hate boro, talk about us on their forum.

Oh and they are on for maybe their biggest gate of the season (boxing day game will run it close) for a 12 o'clock game, that's on TV against a team they don't care about.

I can't believe they aren't self aware enough to see how stupid they look saying it. Idiots. It's hilarious.

Their obsession with attendances is embarrassing mind. It's all they have got though.

Most of their fans haven't seen them do anything. We have seen us win a major trophy and beat the likes of Roma and Lazio in Europe, sign world class players.
 
I'm not bothered what they think about anything to be honest, whether it's a derby or not, their obsession with attendances or how big they are. I just know that in my lifetime we've always smashed them and it's fantastic every time we do.
