Injured Players - who would you most like back for the play offs?

If you could pick only one player to be back fit for the play offs:

Forss
Ramsey
Fry

Assuming the others are minor knocks and will be OK.

Fry has been out for long time now. What is his injury?

Part of me thinks our best way of winning is to out score the opposition. For that reason I think I’d go with Forss.

Ramsey. If he's fit and firing he's absolute quality. I'd love him back next season in either league.

Also Forss. He's the unsung hero of that front 3. He offers a real goal threat but also grafts. The very least he's a great option of the bench if we went with Ramsey.

I see Fry as first choice. I'm not sure Carrick does. I think he prefers Mcnair. That said he needs to he back as only 2 fit CBs isn't ideal (not counting Howson)

Howson
Ramsey
Fry
Forss
The fact Howson "hasn't trained all week", according to Carrick, suggests it's far from guaranteed to he'll be back. His importance to the team this year has been greater than ever. Ramsey is a matchwinner who could make the difference in what will be tight play-off games. Would be great to have Fry back as he and Lenihan the best CB pairing. Forss is handy, but feel we have others who can do what he does.

In order of preference

Giles
Ramsay
Forss
Howson
Fry

I would say they are all very useful and there is not a big difference between the preferences.

Giles just the sheer number of assists/crosses is very useful.
Ramsay gives that extra creativity and energy
Forss - strong and direct and helps offensively and defensively
Howson - psychologically gels the team and works hard, experienced head.
Fry - reads the game well, mobile for a centre half and confident on the ball.

Of course they have have weaknesses too which I am not listing in here.

We often don't play Forss and Ramsay together because there is not enough space in the team if Akpom, Archer, McGree are playing.

I genuiene believe all players above will be fit and involved in the play offs in some capacity, however, I truely believe that Howson is the most important player out of all of the above, when howson leaves the pitch or doesnt play our press and pace of play just doesnt seem to be there and in the last few games he has been much more assured and started the play from the back as apose to paddy who doesnt trust himself and constantly turns back, its a shame Howson is the age he is but in the current crop of players I dont think there is anyone there who can step into his shoes so we will need to recruit and recruit well in that department.

My order of preference

Ramsey...most dynamic forward puts teams on the back foot and our best option on the left.
Howson... great experience and calmness required for the playoffs,
Forss....Played well, very consistent and our best option on the right
Fry...Good centre half to have against old school center forwards and direct play.
Giles...Good crosser of the ball, average defender.
