Incident in Southport

True, sometimes they don’t say, sometimes delving into their history reveals nothing(see the vegas shooter). Sometimes a switch flicks in someone’s head and insanity prevails.
Doesn't need a motive. He's just a sick individual, evil exists in this world unfortunately.

They believe that he may be on the Autistic spectrum.
On a side note ,I don’t recall the rioting after Lucy Letby was convicted of murdering babies, surely these idiots should have been out protecting “our kids”.

Absolutely horrific what he has done! Those poor kids & the ones that survived will be damaged for life.

I hope he has a truly torrid time in jail for the rest of his life. A good kettling and more for the horrible cretin.

Anyone capable of stabbing children is clearly mentally ill. Probably born a physcopath and had a childhood trauma that's turned him into a killer. That's the usual deadly combination.

You need to reconcile yourself to the possibility that his motive will never be known.
Fair enough, that might end up being the case. If it transpires however that he was politically motivated, it could lead to more being done with regards to education in schools around terrorism.

Maybe education might stop terrorist groups like these right wing hate mobs

It's impossible to know what the motive is without being told by the perpetrator or the police from what they have ascertained from their investigation. It is pretty clear that there was a motive, it was premeditated and it wasn't a chance happening that escalated or anything like that. He had taken a taxi there (and a large knife), refused to pay and then committed the atrocity and then just went home. People, especially those suffering from mental health issues, can "snap" and do something that they haven't planned but all the released information points towards something pre-meditated and that means a tougher sentence should be sought.

I’d really like to think they will throw away the key. Hard to imagine how they wouldn’t.
