unfortunately they've already moved onto 'that doesn't sound very Welsh'

The murderer is a kid who was born, raised, schooled and socialised in Britain. I hope everyone, including those on this thread with whom I disagree but will treat with respect, will consider the sole pertinent question:

What has gone wrong in our country that has lead to a SEVENTEEN year old British child murdering innocent babies at a F***ing dance practice?

We need to be given information asap with regards to what its motivation was to carry out this attack.

Michael Adebolajo was born, raised, schooled and socialised in Britiain. He cited Britain's foreign policy as the reason why he set out to murder a soldier, and used verses from the Quran to justify his actions.

The sooner the motive is made public, the sooner work can be carried out to hopefully prevent anything like this ever happening again.

Well, I suppose all these questions would have been asked after Dunblane, which led to stricter gun control (which the Americans haven't followed suit on) and has been pretty successful.

But we do have a problem with knife crime, and its obviously not always gang-related as in this case. I've no idea what the answer is or how we go about ensuring it could never happen again. I'm pretty sure chucking out anyone with African roots won't solve much though (my sons wouldn't like it!).

I just can't believe this happened to three innocent children. At least with the Manchester bomb you could rationalise that it was an Islamist crackpot and a sort of 'known' issue (although the crime itself was equally incomprehensible/heinous).

'We' don't need to be given anything. We need to let the relevant authorities get on with their work while we just need to mind our own F***ing business.

And until information is made public regarding his motivation to carry out this attack, misinformation will be spread online, which will only further heighten tensions and could lead to more rioting and islamophobic attacks.

There is already a rumour doing the rounds on X that he'd told his classmates that he'd been expelled from school for carrying a knife and telling classmates that we needed a genocide in England like they had in Rwanda.

The sooner it's made public the sooner these potential rumours can be put to bed.

What if he hasn't revealed his motivation for the attack? Or if he has given conflicting information about his motives? Or if he changes his statement at a later date?

I do understand people wanting to know why someone would carry out such a horrific act, but is this something that is usually revealed by police at this stage, or at a later date when he goes to trial? I genuinely don't know the answer to that question.

He's a sick individual that doesn't deserve any more media attention.

That's fair enough, you could be right. I do still stand by my belief that the motive should be revealed at the earliest opportunity though.

Just seen pictures of the 3 bairns on the news for the first time. I really hope he has an unbearable experience in prison for the rest of his life. That said, it won't bring them back. Just can't believe what I'm seeing.
I honestly struggle to control my emotions every time I see the photo of them.

The little lass wearing the pink t-shirt. So innocent, and to think how excited they would have been that morning 😢

What a world we're living in.
