Important - MFC Covid Guidance - Please Read

Best keep this near the top of the forum.
I won't pin it for the moment - because sometimes that doesn't grab peoples attention.
There will be an Open Day on Friday. Where people that perhaps don't have mobiles etc might be able to get documentation - details to be released.
There will be lateral flow testing site at the Riverside on Saturday.

I’ve heard that gold season card holders can email theirs to the club and that these will be automatically updated on to your season card and you can use the new secret gold card entry point so you don’t have to mix with the minions trying to turn their phones on 🤭

You can also download the covid pass to google pay. (I assume Apple will have something similar)

Save you having to log into the NHS app every time.

Do we think they are going to check everyone, or is it a spot-checking 1/100 kind of thing?

I can't imagine how they're going to pull it off, unless they man every turnstile like in the olden days?

I really don't think fans should go... I know we have to live with it, but we're experiencing a massive peak...

I’m assuming the kiosks won’t be open on the concourses, as that would inadvertently create a large number of people congregating, eating and drinking, obviously without masks on??
If pubs and bars are open then why would the kiosks on the concourses be closed?

MSF captured the audio from MFC on BBC tees this morning and posted it on their Facebook page. Worth a listen on what to expect on Saturday.

Riverside entry Guidance - MFC on BBC Tees
The lady on here said they'll compare your covid pass name with the name on the ticket.

I confirmed with the club that you can also provide a driving license or something else to prove ID if you aren't using your own ticket

So what’s the point of the mask rule on the concourse then?
I think it's the club requiring the wearing of masks rather than the law as it says in the concourse and hospitality areas, however the law exempts places such as bars and restaurants so I don't see that legally they'd require masks in those areas.

Perhaps it's a return to what we had previously - wear a mask as you're moving about but obviously don't when you're eating and drinking, unless the club have decided to not open the kiosks and are planning to have a lot of staff suddenly not working this close to Christmas? This area possibly needs some clarification from the club on what people can expect.

If anyone requires help and assistance ahead of Saturday then you can book an appointment with Boro staff on Friday

Seemed to be more spot checks than anything, checked passports but not tickets, then spoke to a few people who had no checks at all done, very random.

Everyone was checked at my turnstiles and it went really well. Passing around the ground there were well ordered short queues at every set of turnstiles with sets of stewards looking between phones and (season) tickets. I walked round two sides of the stadium.
I heard positive reports from fans in other stands at other times of entry as well.
I thought it all worked well and both fans and club staff should be praised.
