I'll never understand woman's logic

TBF a lot of older houses still have lead piping upstairs. I'd drink water from the kitchen too
I think this is a throw back to header tanks for old heating systems. Bathrooms would usually take their cold feed from the header tank that sits in the dusty old loft - invariably without a lid. That's why people shouldnt drink it.

Here’s the buck snorter for you;

My Mrs the other day….that kettle doesn’t heat the water like our last kettle 🤷‍♂️😀🙈🤣

I mean WTF.
She adds a bit of cold water before proceeding to drink her tea 🤷‍♂️🤔

I just said….O right (!) With a note to self *got to get this one on FMTTM* 🤣

She may be right.

Rapid boil kettles and Temperature range ones too

My mother (back in the 80s when you got things fixed) took the hoover to get it repaired at a local electrical shop...she came back and my dad asked "what was wrong with it? " She said the guy in the shop said it had a " small circus" in the electrics....he had told her it was a "short circuit".

Also went to the pharmacy to pick up (and asked for Grandads description)..not prescription...nutter.

This is going to lead towards an old person logic thread which I'm not looking forward as I start to recognise my slide towards this.

I’ve had to put up with some funny stuff…

me “It’s the US Open”
Her “Is that the one in Canada”

Or when going through the booking order for a vegas hotel, she requested a sea view
Many moons ago, I worked for P&O Cruises. The number of times we had peeps call up wanting to book an inside cabin with a balcony :oops:
