Daughter is away on holiday. Wife decides to do some housework for her and packs the hoover in the car. I ask her why she is taking the hoover when there is one already at the daughters house. Wife replies, "to save daughters electricity"😔

Is she a consultant to Ed Miliband?

I had a girlfriend many years back who once told me that she was late getting ready when I went to pick her up for our planned dinner date because her hair dryer wasn't working because of weak electricity. When she told her mum she said it might be because it was a busy time of day and the electricity might be weaker and to try lowering the hair dryer to lower than the plug and see if that helps the electricity run down the wire. She did and it worked on and off. When she told me I was aghast and told her not to use said device and to give me it so I could fix it - it was obviously a bad/loose/broken contact somewhere. She did and it was a wire break where it met the plug. I never knew "Weak electricity" was a thing ;)
