If the Blades lose tomorrow, it makes the match tomorrow night suddenly bigger

Looking at the games remaining we do need a mini miracle as well as winning all our games But some of Uniteds remaining games have started to take on a extra edge, Preston have pushed themselves into playoff contention, WBA are pushing to regain form as and could easily get a result, Hudds Town have regained form and Cardiff are fighting for their championship place. At one point April looked an easy run in for them , if by the FA cup semi final day we have managed to keep the points gap as it is and not increased then I'm going to think it could be an interesting remaining two weeks.

We simply need to put a winning run together starting tonight. They play Burnley on monday and whilst the rest of their fixtures are easier on paper, they have to play Cardiff, Huddersfield and Preston who all have something to play for. They play Bristol city who have just beaten a decent Stoke side as well.

Just when I thought I was out they pull me back in.

And they are looking tired

We just need to be positive and I won’t have any complaints we and Sheff United will both likely drop points between now and the end of the season.

If we win tonight our momentum will be back if we don’t we just have to go again.

This is the Championship it’s so, so competitive.

Where we were when MC took over we should be very happy with the state of the table.

The points gap is nine at this moment. If Boro beat Burnley it will go back to six, but a six point gap with the Blades having four games left after their cup game is a lot to overcome.

Of course it's possible that the Blades will implode, but not likely. Four of their next five league games are at home. If they do implode then Luton are just as likely to catch them as Boro.
