If the Blades lose tomorrow, it makes the match tomorrow night suddenly bigger

Today is going to be nerve-wracking before we play.

Wigan have improved loads under their new manager. Unbeaten in their last 3. He's a bit of a here there and does seem to be getting them playing with some pride. I wouldn't put it past them to get something. Avoiding going behind is key, get the Utd fans nervous.

It's on the red button so we can all bite our nails before heading to the Riverside.

I think Millwall will be Luton, just out of badness.

I will be super happy with the play-offs but I think having 2nd to play for keeps the players focused. It also tests their mentality - which I questioned after last week. Do they really want it? It smelt a little like 'mmm, we might be going up here and I'm not sure where that leaves me' for those 15 mins. We will see.

Can't see anything other than a routine Blades victory.

But then, the same would have been expected of us before a ball was kicked at Huddersfield.

Nah, surely not?

I’m not so sure about that, plenty of people saw Hudds as a banana skin for us with the Warnock factor. It certainly disappointed me but didn’t surprise me that we lost the game (though I didn’t expect we’d concede 4, thought it had 1-0 written all over it tbh).
It was the most typical score. It's a cold day in hell when we can't score against them, the only hope they had was to bag a few before the $hithousery commenced, which they did.

A Warnock masterclass. Let's hope for 4 more of them, against Watford, Blackburn, the Blades and of course Sunderland.

Wish people would be realustic. The most points we can get is 88. Sheff utd cannget 97. Are they going to drop 9 points and we win every game. I doubt it. Its a big game purely because we can possibky beat the top team and consolidate our playoff spot

I'm an eternal optimist but also a realist. It's difficult to see us overtaking Sheff Utd now.

The only thing which gives us a glimmer of hope is the fact that they have to play an extra game in the fa cup. Maybe that game against Man City will take a lot out of their players. They still have a pretty easy run-in though.

There are no predictions in the OP. It’s just a series of IFs.

IF Arsenal lose a couple of games, Man City will probably win the league. It’s not a prediction, just a musing.

By the way is the possibility of a points deduction totally dead? Cos if it isn’t then tonight’s game is absolutely massive.
