That explains it a bit if Towers is involved. Referring to people online with their initials was a wannabe hooligan thing to do in the early 2000’s. Supposed to keep the persons identity secret so “old bill” couldn’t work it out

The fact the lad has passed away makes it all the more bizarre though.

I'm pretty sure that most people reading this thread will have worked out it relates to someone passing on but just so there's no doubt and the thread can be used for what it was intended; A long term COB poster and friend of many on that board, RedRoar and no doubt here, died at just 42 earlier in the week.
