I’m not a proper Boro Fan.

Inspired by the other post today, I’ve only got 17 priority points.

Never eaten a parmo. Think they look disgusting and no doubt taste disgusting.

Never been in the Bongo, the navvy, the Hairy Lemon, or half the pubs in town.

Am a Southerner by birth.

I don’t particularly hate Sunderland. I’ve got a few mackem mates that I have bit of banter with.

I have climbed Roseberry Topping though.

Guess I should be a Man United fan really.

"Guess I should be a Man. Utd. fan really" ? Aaarrrrgh ! I'd rather jump OFF Roseberry Topping

No priority points either. Was a ST holder since my Holgate days but shift work prevents me attending most games.
I was one of the 100000 at Victoria Park for the 2-2 draw.
As for parmos- I like chicken, cheese and bechemal sauce is like eating solvite. That said I’d eat a parmo if there was nothing else on offer.
My whole sense of well being is completely dependent upon the club’s fortunes. I could win the Euro Millions but still be morose if we play badly, I’m not even overly concerned with the winning, **** me if that’s what I wanted I’d support Bayern, Barcelona, Boca or Benfica.
I’m also from Redcar, but born in Boro. All my family are from the PRT.
UTB!

Parmos = decent when drunk in town from a pizza box. Don’t really understand people ordering them in local
Italian restaurants when sober etc but horses for courses I suppose. Don’t entirely understand why local Italian (and other) restaurants even serve them.

I have 180 priority points. Regular attendee since 1990 and season ticket holder since 1995 despite living away from Teesside since 2000 (including a 5 year stint in London). Have missed a fair few matches this season due to having a second young son though. And I’m from the north of the river.

I’m also a pretty encyclopaedic nerd on World Cups and mainly 90s football in general. But I’m not a football fan at all if you believe some, because I don’t get all angry and ranty about Tony Pulis playing Dael Fry at full back once or twice! 😉😂.

I realised I had graduated to being a proper Boro fan on the day that we beat Leeds 4-1 in 1992.

4-0 up, Cantona makes it 4-1 with minutes to go and I start to panic and whistling for final whistle. This was repeated (to a lesser extent) on Ravs return with Derby

I've got 80 points, been up RT loads of times, was born within spitting distance of AP and like a Parmo.

On the other hand, I've never owned a replica shirt of any variety. I'm also completely middle class, so was surprised to learn that I didn't really like football until it became fashionable in the 90s.

I have nil points

Yes to Roseberry topping
I think the Lyke Wake Walk should count for Uber supporter status tho - done it a few times

Been in the other pubs

Live in Lincoln so only go to away games in London (where me lads live) but did have an ST for 35 years and went to first game in 67.

Never eaten a parmo

Went to the bongo in the 80s’. Remember a lovely lady giving me the ‘eye’…..after a few drinks and a dance she mentioned £20 though😳
