I’d argue that this is the worst strike force we’ve ever had

4 strikers ( inc nemcha) and not one decent one among them and to add insult to injury nemcha looks as useless and ineffectual as the other three.

How can it be this bad how

We needed to go all out to try and sign Billy Sharp on loan in January.

At one point it was looking like there was a realistic chance of it happening.

I remember some fans were saying we didn't need him - the season was a write-off, and we should just be building for next season.

We got complacent and it's come back to bite us on the backside.

The whole team needs a overhaul, we have defenders that cant clear a ball, midfielders that cant pick a pass and forwards that cannot score.
This isnt a new thing and has been the case for a fair few seasons.

If you havnt watched 'Sunderland Till I Die' then I suggest that you do and make the comparasons yourself. Poor recruitment and giving over inflated contracts was the key to their demise......ring any bells?????

My thoughts on where our problems lie are well known and if the other site was up I could go back years and copy and paste them here.

One word, recruitment.

We’ve had bad eras before but there’s Normally one leading light from our strike force but

fletcher lots if promise but a never will be

Brit does he really want to be here as his body language is shocking( I still haven’t got over his pathetic pen at Luton) and at times is like playing with 10 men because without goals he contributes nothing.

gestede - why did we ever sign him just why

nemcha - if only he was as good as he thinks he is

I said era mate as in they are all bad yes we have **** players but not an entire strike force this bad.

They aren't very good but the main problem isn't them but the manager. He is just not cut out to be a manager. He's not bright enough. Tactically inept and the sooner we all admit it and bring in someone capable the better. If we leave it too long then it'll be too late and we'll be starting from League 1.

You all complain about Woodgate but what does Robbie Keane actually do? Surely he is the attacking coach and should be improving these strikers. Not one of them can hold the ball up, make intelligent runs, head the ball to a colleague or take a defender on. Oh and score a goal.

Far from it. He is another puppet like Woody
