Huge game tonight.

You were probably thinking of Huddersfield BB. Don't tell anyone but I watched Bournemouth v Toon last night . Toon started quickly scored early and coasted for most of the game . We could repeat that if we start with the right attitude

I’m confident but take nothing for granted. They scored 3 the other day but conceded 3.
I think what we have in this manager that we never in others is good game management. Starting the game at the correct tempo and knowing when to push on and when to hold off. When to make substitutions.
he’ll play the players in the best position And change it when he needs to.
He’s a proper manager and not a coach.
I predict a win but I’ll be happy not to lose and put a good account in.

Judging by Hulls fans comments on him I wish he was playing. He was abysmal by all accounts with a rank bad attitude. Got an over inflated opinion of himself.

One of their papers was claiming he was looking for 20k p/w to sign for them. Have a feeling he will be waiting a while for a club to offer him that.

I watched Huddersfield the other night versus Forest and they were unlucky. Noticed they put it right last night with a convincing win. Huddersfield wont go down IMHO. Which makes tonights game ever more crucial. UTB

The Championship is always unpredictable, but since lockdown it has been significantly more so.
Pre lockdown form is meaningless and post lockdown form is patternless as yet. Home advantage seems to be much lesser.
I am still in a warm glow on the events of the last 9 days; the sort of safe feeling I was lucky to have when I walked in through my parents' front door as a kid. Not everything was perfect, but I felt safe and that life was good.
We may get beat tonight - they could beat us for a variety of reasons - but I am now so much more confident that our next season will be in the Championship.
Leadership is so crucial.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say we'll batter them tonight - 3-0 or 4-0 I reckon. Marcus Maddison aside, I don't really see too much quality in their squad.

I don't think Boro have scored even 3 goals in a match all season. It's a bit of a triumph of hope over expectation to think a high pressure match against fellow strugglers will be when it happens.

the only game we did was the first game of the season.

Everyone on here has a more positive attitude after NWs appointment and the game on Saturday. I am sure the players will feel the same. I think we are going to win (I can't remember when I last said that) but I wouldn't be unhappy with the draw
