Huge game tonight.

1-0 will do me fine if we throw bodies all over the place to defend the goal(y)
Really is a massive game!

That would be great mate. I think I would go with the same line up , maybe make 2 or 3 changes for Sunday’s game to freshen it up.

I am so nervous its untrue.

Hull are a funny team their results are baffling, they are capable of scoring for fun, but equally capable of abject displays purely based on seeing results. I really dont know what to expect from them. I think we need to be more solid at the back than we were against Stoke.

I would go with a 3-5-2/5-3-2 wing backs system. I can see this being a really open game with plenty of chances for both sides, like the Luton away game. I don’t care what the score is so long as we win. A draw would not be a disaster mind. I will go with a 2-3 win, strap yourselves in and have the defibrillators close by, the Boro rollercoaster is about to set off on another Journey into the unknown

Would be a corker of a game that, nothing better than coming out on top of a match that swings both ways.

Agree on his sheer presence makes me feel confident

Just seen part of his interview from yesterday on Tyne tees local news on GMTV
anyone know where to watch the whole interview ???

(y) However, Got to admit I would prefer a game where we score early on, go in at half time 2-0 so I can enjoy a nice cup of char at half time, go 3-0 up after about 60 mins and put the game to bed.

However, we are Boro, so in reality it will be a nail biting, sweat induced, heart in mouth, frothing at the lips, screaming at the telly nightmare, till the ref finally blows the whistle and we relax after scraping a result we are hopefully happy with :D

And we wouldn’t change it for the world ! :D

Yep coluka, about sums up 40 plus years of following the Boro

Massive game, especially with the fact everyone but Stoke picked up points in and around us.

Also with the fact Wigan now drop into the mix.

Not sure if I'd take a point....I feel like they're there for the taking, but a point keeps us out of the bottom 3 with a very winnable game against QPR this weekend.

Definitely a nail biter this evening!

My big worry is, like coluka, although we've banged on about Warnock been here for the past 4 seasons & now he's here I'm buzzing but with Stoke losing heavily after we beat em & the comments on here saying that they are that bad any team in the league would beat them, then have we improved that much in a few days under NW or would Woodys team have beaten Stoke

I think time will tell today, fingers, toes crossed, we have but yes still so nervous

Although I think Stoke are in freefall, I do think that performance on Saturday was an improvement from the games under Woody.

Would Woody have played Britt/Roberts/Fletcher up top? Probably not.

Would Woody have played Spence at WB? Probably not.

Only 1 game like you say, but the signs are already looking better.

Yeah, as Marv rightly says. We would of went to Stoke under him and probably got absolutely battered. We looked a more gritty team already under Warnock, and that’s what it’s about , being difficult to beat and then going from there. He’s the master at getting teams out of the **** and I have no doubt he will do so with us.

Marvanelli, good answer, I probably knew the answer as I was typing, TBH, just seeing posters confidence with one result gives me a feel good factor, cheers

We'll that'll do me Block, I will come gunning for you if we lose don't today 😊

We're 3 points above the drop even if we lose tonight.

But the teams in the relegation zone are in such good form that we can't really afford not to get something from this.
