Have 48 hours to come up with a package to avoid going into administration- hope they can pull it off.
Is it me or does it feel like this is happening more often this season in the championship:
Transfer embargos for the top 2
rumored administration for Sheff Utd and Huddersfield
points deductions for Wigan and Reading.
It feels like stories like this are coming out more often this year
Warnock I imagine will be quite good at a siege mentality “we will show them etc” so not a game we should take lightly regardless.God they could be totally heartbroken by the time we play them next week
its all getting a bit out of control now
How many is that now?
Derby
Sheff Wed
Reading
Wigan
Hudds
Sheff Utd
Burney
Thats just off the top of my head

How have they spent beyond their means? i dont recall any decent players that would be worth going out of business for even when they went up. They seemed to have a decent team of plodders who overachieved. what happened to all the money?
They got absolutely robbed in that play off final, it was truly shocking... feel for their fans. plucky forest eh
Burnley’s £170m takeover.. used the clubs own money! When they were in the prem it was said their finances would be in big trouble as they got relegated. You would think promotion would help them out.. eventually with tv money and parachute payments.Burnley only have a transfer embargo because of late filing.
Sale of Pope, Mee, Tarkowski Cornet, Collins McNeil and Wood would have helped - brought in £73mBurnley’s £170m takeover.. used the clubs own money! Saying that Sheffield United are struggling still owing over £18m on past transfers.. are these clubs owed money just waiting for promotion or a big fire sale in the summer? £90m i your proposed..
Restricting the away support to 2300 hasn't helped much either. Honestly, I can't understand why the EFL, club creditors or whoever are not questioning things like this more. They are playing in a stadium that is nigh on empty most games, surely it makes sense, especially with their current predicament, to find an alternative to offer more away tickets. If they could somehow double up our allocation then whats that, another 100K in the coffers? Do that for another few games and it's a good chunk of change coming into the club.Getting cheated out of winning the play offs has been awful for them. Some of the decisions in that match were awful.
Kicking myself for not buying Newcastle FC a few years ago.. could have had a fair few apartments paying for my retirement!Sale of Pope, Mee, Tarkowski Cornet, Collins McNeil and Wood would have helped - brought in £73m
