How you know when you are past it

Watering the plants in the garden is the most important activity (and the most exercise you will get)

I've always been pretty physically fit due to the nature of my work, but I got seriously ill over lockdown (not Covid) and pretty much spent a year in hospital. Got out a couple of months, but haven't had any of the Physio I was promised. Pills and potions are getting my arms and shoulders back, but my legs are still fecked. Main problem I'm having is with buses, I can't stand when they're moving so I have to wait till one with free seats comes along. Trouble is when I sit in the seats allotted to people with movement difficulties I get grief off people for sitting there!
I regularly do 25k plus steps a day at work, 2 days & 2 nights, done this for many years, but recently, on the morning of my 1st nightshift, I can feel all those steps, strugggle to walk to the bathroom, which eases throughout the day, an age thing really
