How will you feel if we don't make the play-offs?

If you'd gave asked around the Sunderland game I'd have said I'd have been fine with it because of where we were in October.
I've always been fine with missing out on Auto's.
However If we were to miss out on the play offs from the position we've been in with the gap we've established I'd be gutted. I genuinely believe if we get in those play offs we win them and Chuba scores the goal that wins it, its destiny.

But anyway, it's 2 games, Burnley are running away the league, no shame in running them close. I'm excited for the next 6. UTFB

We'll make the playoffs......but if we don't win them, I'll be gutted but few days after fine with it.

Progress we've made has been phenomenal, but part of me still has flashbacks to the last PL season and thinks could it be as bad? Will be be better equipped this time?

Another season for Carrick in the Championship wouldn't be the end of the world, but the recruitment will be critical......be a very different squad next season.

I like the Championship, so not getting to the PL.......meh 🤷🏻‍♂️

If we don’t go up we aren’t in a great position going into the summer and highlights our failure inn recruitment and mainly flooding the team with loan players

To think if we don’t go up we will loose Archer, Ramsey, Steffan and Giles for next season. That’s four starters to replace in one summer which is always going to be difficult especially with our recruitment. It will be even worse if we loose Akpom.

I just wish we would stop relying on loans and actually build our own squad. It’s the only way clubs like ours will ever compete

If we didn't make the playoffs then I'd be understandably gutted. Not just with expectations raised so much to be dashed of course, but also with how crap our run of games would have to have gone to the season end to end up in that position.

Think we will make the playoffs, win or lose the playoffs, it's still been a great season from where we were back in October.

The championship is a great league, if we don't go up, and if we continue to improve, we will be winning most matches next season, so it will be just as exciting.
The premiership will be hard for any promoted teams, and a massive overhaul would be needed if we were to win the playoffs.

If we make the play-offs, but don't go up, I'd say it's still a successful 2/3rds of a season under Carrick.

But there's no telling how the next season would turn out because of the squad churn.

How will you feel if we get automatic ( not saying we will but also think we will definitely get play off look at the odds on us making top 6 and the bookies are rarely that wrong ) we are 7 off Norwich and 9 off Sheff Utd so y not be glass half full rather than half empty

I'd understandably be over the moon, as well as somewhat disbelieving that we did it from this stage?😲😃

But I don't think either of these eventualities described will happen.🤣

Oh f*ck that. That's the final nail in the coffin for me. I'm looking for a new team.

I'm torn between Liverpool. Will they be good again? or City. I'd love a Haaland Shirt. Although he's no Akpom 😂

Jokes aside I'll be 'fine'. Under Carrick has been a breath of fresh air. A Boro team that scores goals. It's been unheard of for years under various managers. I loved Karankas side... Yet it was more 'officiant' than good to watch.

The only slight worry I have is it's going to need another slight rebuild. A bit like Forest last year. We've had good loans who won't be with us next season. We need to 'replace' Giles / Steffen and Archer. That's not easy on a budget.

I clearly want promotion. Yet I'd almost take a promotion run and winning games to struggling to reach 40 points (or less). I'm sure Burnley fans have enjoyed this more than 4-5 seasons of just stating up.

Every championship team relies on loans. Look at the two teams going up automatically for a start. We will just have to get good ones next season to replace them.

I will feel like a kid on Christmas morning who was hoping for a new grifter and ended up with a selection box instead, denied, cheated, cheap and used.

I dont think fans are moaning, lets just see how we come out of the Bristol game on Monday. I think the Huddersfield game highlighted our vulnerabilities and , to get one thing clear, we didnt run Burnley close at all. They had it in the bag as soon as they scored the second and knew it.

Gutted but also annoyed we chucked it away. . This season is the time to win it. Some big clubs coming down and potentially some coming up to join some more estaished championship clubs. It will be ultra tough to go up next season uess you have parachute payments
