How much alcohol do you consume?

Almost nothing. Unless I happen to be in Morrisons and Innis and Gunn is on the shelf. Then I'm a raging alcoholic for a week.

I will be honest and say that I drink every single night.
Way too much but I have Brands Hatch for a mind so the lesser of two evils.
I am working on my fitness and hope to stay off the drink at least a couple of nights a week some time in the future. But it aint happening soon :)
Ditto, I have something to drink every night but no more than a couple of beers at a time. At the weekend you can add in a bottle of red drunk over 2 or 3 days. At one point 4 years back it ramped up to 3 beers a night plus a couple of bottles of wine a week, probably 60 units a week, too much.
Recently I've got back into low alcohol beers (<0.5%) 2 or 3 nights a week and I've ditched the red wine which itself gets rid of 10 units a week.

Same here, wine pretty much every night without fail, about a bottle, have done so probably for 30 plus years. Ran a decent business and quite fit for my age (60) run at least 5k every other day, cycle, and gym the days I don’t run (mostly) all in all it’s hard to see any negative effects for me. Have an otherwise good (veggie) diet, had blood tests recently and LFT was fine. I like and enjoy the wine.

Tried three nights a week off during February and march, which was ok, but wouldn’t really recommend it. Might give it another go, but when we’re abroad, which is almost half the time it’s impossible. That said I admire anyone who has a good grip on it, do what’s best for you.

Never really been a lager drinker myself, but the improved quality of alcohol free beers has certainly contributed to my reduction.

I rarely drank enough to be hungover, but I don't miss that feeling of being slightly jaded the day after a few.
The other thing that's really struck me since I cut down is how boring and bland the conversation of those who've had a few can be.

TBH it was more just the stuffy head feeling rather than hungover & as I got older it needed fewer & fewer bottles to make me feel rough.. so switching to 0% alcohol was not a problem..

More than the recommended amount. Been off work this week so had a couple of beers every night followed by a large g&t.

When I’m at work Monday to Thursday is no drinking, Friday 4/5 beers and same Saturday. Couple of glasses of red on Sunday evening. Probably 35/40 units per week.

None…for a very long time. A friend pointed out that I wasn’t drinking it anymore.
It was drinking me.
