How long do we give Warnock then?

Warnock will walk before Christmas if we continue in this vein. I was there today and ok our game plan was upset by McNair's late pull out, but we were devoid of ideas once Coventry realised all they needed to do was put men on Jones and let Dijksteel have the ball.
I also can't for the life of me understand why we have got rid of our only holding midfielder and replaced him with a Cameroonian who looks way off the pace. Not sure where Crooks and Tav are meant to be playing either. Hopefully we'll not be in a relegation fight🙄

Way off the pace already / very disappointing - we need to put a run of games together and soon otherwise all the early season optimism will be gone by November!

He'll last longer than Rooney, 😃
Are we playing badly,or just not winning, there is a difference, keep calm and carry on, he'll know if it's not working,he's not here for the money..

I don't think any supporter is making demands but there is an expectation of progress. That's only natural otherwise what is the point? And I must have missed it but I haven't seen anything proclaiming that we are a 'work in progress'.
OK you'll have to carefully define the difference between "making demands" and "expecting progress". They sound pretty much the same to me!

Progress might be getting the club to work in a coherent manner towards making us able to challenge for promotion with at least a decent chance that we might stop up. That we establish a stable system able to progress players through that system into the first team whilst moving on "surplus" players and bringing in players for roles where we have been unable to develop a suitable player through our structure.

Now that sounds a little dull like reading stuff off a spreadsheet in a management focus group. But, it doesn't mean we can't be entertaining to watch. In fact it probably means that we HAVE to be entertaining to watch! Watching today's game wasn't dull, for a long time it was end to end and perhaps if we'd have scored first we might have gone on to win? We'll never know. But I was "involved" in the game, I was shouting at the telly, swearing at the ref, etc. I was involved. Compare that with the football under Pullis for example...

Muttley I suppose it's the tone that differentiates the two. "Making demands" sounds like an entitlement to me whereas "expecting progress" sounds more reasonable over a medium term. I do expect us to make progress because even if you stand still you are effectively going backwards.

There's a few aggressive posters who won't have anything negative said about the club and are jumping down people's throats (not you I might add) when in reality the concern is genuine as we haven't performed since January.

I expect him to be here all season, but if he's retiring next summer I'd at least expect a review of the season so far when we get to the November international break. Hopefully things will have started to turn around by then

January 2017?

Warnock must know it isn't working. Loads of new players, but still the same old problems. I really hope you are right and he quits because it'll be far better for everyone than him having to be fired.

It's just frustrating seeing him, the team and the club floundering like this.

So long as we dont go down, that will be a success in his eyes, remember he came in to 'sort the club out'. I will be pleased if we stay in the championship but next season will be a challenge. A new manager and his team to take over a thin squad of average players and loans. Its a hard circle to break.

So success has been recalibrated to avoiding relegation?

Well id personally say we have another 6 games toll next international break...if weve only won one out of that lot. Its time for action if we seriously want to challenge this season. Its sounds like fry, tv and mcnsir will be off next yesr if we dont so be firther weakeded.
