Not only is his commentary boring but he’s rude and, as you say, condescending towards Maddo (who’s punditry I quite like)
Drury has an acid like sense of humour and comes across as just distasteful and disrespectful.

Ali was and still is a legend, he can never be replaced.
I think Drury is good though, i like listening to him.
Has good chemistry with Maddo and makes the game sound exciting.

Got no problem with Drury myself. He's not a patch on Ali but who is. I'm sure he would freely admit that himself. It was always Mark Page that boiled my p!$$. Fortunately, he sorted that little problem out himself

I quite like him but it is a slightly odd pairing with Maddison - who would suit someone who is maybe a bit more blood and thunder enthusiastic, like he is. Also sometimes they are clearly not on the same wavelength.
