How annoyingly good was Sam Morsy yesterday

Morsy should’ve been sent off for his challenge on Rogers in the first minute, referee let them kick our players to bits.

The number 12 should’ve gone as well for his so called tackles on Crooks, they were more like an assault.

I didn’t see anything special about Ipswich yesterday, dirty bunch of cloggers that got away with all kinds, two shots on target and two goals, one heavily deflected too
I cant recall a team going up in successive seasons from league 1 to the Premier league so if they do go up that is quite a feat. Most teams are just happy to consolidate, avoid relegation, and build after that.

They didn't impress me as much as Stoke when they came here. What Chaplin lacks in height he more than makes up for with his style of play. He was quite commanding also, seemed to be marshalling the others and like Morsy is quite an influence on the team.

I still think the referee helped them quite a bit yesterday with some of the decisions. Their arrogance on social media about promotion knows no bounds. I hope Norwich beat them next week as they have really been full of themselves over this game.

It might bring them back down to earth!

Maybe I am just jealous deep down?? haha. UTB.

He bossed the midfield. He always seemed to be where he needed to be. Good tackling, classy touch. I mean we made it easy for him but I didn't think much of him when he was at the boro.
He played well, but its probably the easiest position on the pitch in a well balanced and confident side. Sit, clean up,and pass.

It really isnt that simple
Well no, the nuances of a particular position in football cant be sufficiently summarised in via a couple of sentences in a football messageboard. But you know what i mean, its a position where if those around you are confident and offering for the ball you pick off 60 or so passes a game quite comfortably

Nothing less than what I expected. He stood out against us when he was at Wigan so I was delighted when we signed him. He just never quite got a good run in our side.
And he turns like a cruise liner but only in one direction. Not good enough for where we expected to be, but given our injuries would have been useful. Out of our price range for a player who'd have played 1 in every 3 or 4 with everyone git

watching on Boro Live as the players came out the tunnel Howson and Mosey leading Howson never looked at him and as a ex teammate found that strange . Morsey was smiling at other ex-teammates and man-hugs

Morsey was slung because he wouldn't wind his neck in spreading dodgy covid info.

Howson is our captain, he's not got time for smiles before kick off with the lad he's going up against.
