Horrific performance

Well anyone that thinks we were going to be heading towards the top 2 this season needs to give their heads a wobble.

We are not even close to being good enough for that.

You can have as many wingers swinging balls in as you like but if your players in the middle are awful it won't really matter.

4 home defeats on the bounce and not one goal scored (own goals don't really count).

Oh and can the useless buggers but some bloody studs in.

I disagree

The difference here is a team who put away their chances against a team who don’t. We’ve missed 3 separate clear cut chances where it was harder to miss than score and paddy McNair gifted them a goal too

Exactky it’s not been a rout as some are trying to portray it we could easily have score at least 3 poss 4 here easily
Ok we didn’t but it wasn’t a rout

It's a bad day at the office.

Missing 5 glaring chances throughout the match, we could have been 3-1 at the 50th minute, then mistakes and individual errors take the game away from us.

Maybe not top 2, we're still hanging in there for a playoff spot & will do until mathematically impossible

Brentford far and away the best side we have faced this season. And yet we should, absolutely should have put 4 past the,. I still cannot get my head around those 3 misses from 6 yards out. How did we not even score one of them?! Effing Britt and Effing Sav!
Still, plenty to look forward to with 18 games to go.

We are like a builder with a cement mixer but no bricks! Thank God Britt is going, take Akpom with him.
However our record of signing strikers leaves me devoid of confidence that we would get it right

And how many times this season have we been left to cry over missed sitters?

To suggest we could get more points than Swansea, Brentford and the others between now and the end of the season is laughable.

We have to be targeting 6th.

Beaten on the day by an extremely good side, but we had enough chances to match them.
That's why Brentford are 20 games unbeaten.
I happy we are 7th and we have a good manager. We will be around the top six.

Would you rather me like Derby, Birmingham or Sheffield Wednesday facing league one next season.

We are just having a little wobble.

We were beaten today because Britt can’t put his foot’on the throat’ of the opposition and finish or saville isn’t clinicial enough on the follow up
2-1 to boro and a totally different game
We don’t take our chances and against the better teams like Brentford we’ll pay for missed chances. Onwards and upwards
Plenty of positives and we paid for missing fry today
