Helloooooo from the hozzy!

Well blow me! Am currently lying in a hozzy bed at Royal Derby.
At 11.30pm last night I got very severe chest pains. Knew something was wrong so called out Paramedics/Ambulance.

Given my history with cancer round the chest area, ie: breast & lungs - I thought it was probably to do with that.
But oh no, I’m not that lucky - I’ve only gorn & had a blummin heart attack haven’t I!! FFS!

I’ve done the tears thing. Done & dusted.
Hardest was telling my partner & friends who couldn’t believe it and understandably in shock themselves.

I’m still in shock too atm.
It’s totally the last thing I expected.
Still trying to take it all in.
Keep having to ask the Docs/Nurses and Cardiologists to explain all this new terminology to me, doh, lol.

Any fellow FMTTMers had a similar experience who may be able to offer me some encouraging & positive thoughts perhaps?
Maybe some advice or words of comfort?

Looking forward to hearing back from yous.
Cheers
Carmen

Very glad you're still with us Blondie. Just do what they tell you and you'll be good as new in no time x

Oh no Blondie!!! My mam had a heart attack at 39....still going strong at 67!! Too much laughing at Chelsea's behaviour yesterday 🤣🤣🤣.
You just do as you're told and you'll be back on your feet in no time xx

Bloody hell blondie your body doesn't half give you a hard time.

Hope you're doing OK . ill be thinking of you.

Blimey!! You don’t do things by half do you! You’re in the right place tho and hopefully getting lots of attention to get you back to full fitness soon

Just follow their instructions. Take your time in getting back to normal.

For my Dad, red wine seems to have prevented further such events.

Get well soon Carmen.Someone I know had a minor heart attack and then stents fitted, which has hopefully sorted it, and they are on the slow road to recovery.
Recovery doesn't happen overnight , you need to take it steady and build it up.
Light exercise , good diet, I hope you recover totally and live a long , happy life .
UTB. X

Get well soon. My dad had a heart attack 20 odd years ago, he's still with us. You're in the best place. Don't fret.

In 2018 my brother in law had a heart attack just outside the Riverside after the Swansea game. Luckily an off duty paramedic and cardiac care nurse were next to him in no time at all and managed to manually perform CPR until the Ambulance arrived. He had stents fitted and then had a triple heart bypass. He is now right as rain and fit as a butcher's dog, for his age. You're in the right place now and things will get better, best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Since when does she ever do what she’s told? This woman is a force of nature. 😁

You just look after yourself, lady. Sending lots of Boro love your way for a speedy recovery. x

So sorry to hear that Carmen.
I'm sure all Boro fans wish you a speedy recovery.

After you've had plenty of rest, make sure that you do all those things that you always wanted to do.

Many hugs and XXXs coming your way from Oz.
