The last time I was in there the two pints of Heineken I had went down a treat. It was the one time I wish I had more time between connections.

I enjoyed the Heineken Experience in Amsterdam city centre also.

Had a tour of the Heineken Brewery on a ships visit to Amsterdam in the mid 80’s.
Fell out of their bar about 2 in the morning, absolutely bat faced

I use to go there on the way home from Namibia. Even at 9am in the morning I’d think **** it. Get a pint.

Pay to go in the lounge and eat and drink to your hearts content.

It’s not bad for people watching, but I prefer the cafe bar opposite Murphys, it’s a bit more intimate for people watching

I always liked Murphys. Been a few years but was back and forth for a couple of years every week.

Is a great airport to be stuck in.

We were stuck there for 6 hours a few years ago and had some food in the Irish bar (our go to when in AMS). We managed to find a nice quiet spot with laydown chairs to while away the hours. The 1.2k compensation sure made up for the wait :)

I have had a water massage there, spend a few euros in a casino, walked round an art gallery and had my feet nibbled by fish.

Mostly I was drunk in there though.
