Heartbroken tonight.

So sorry to hear that. Can't even imagine what his loved ones are going through. It's a reminder the most dangerous and responsible thing most of us will ever do is drive a car.

Sorry to read this. Cars can be dangerous in certain circumstances if not driven correctly. As mentioned, stick to the speed limit, stay off the phone and don’t drink.

Boy my sons age been killed by car close to where we live.

Do everyone a favour

Slow down a bit.

Don't drink and drive.

Don't use your mobile.
There was a car speeding down Redcar lane, flicked my hand up as a gesture and said bloke just flipped the bird. Sunday morning wouldn’t have surprised me if they were over the limit too.

The roads are as dangerous as ever. Redcar lane is also full of people speeding

Takes 30 seconds from leaving my house to seeing cars speeding or people using mobiles at the wheel chances of getting caught are minimal...

I've just had to drop my good lady The Fun Police Inspector at work and had to "do battle" with the school run psychos. Honestly so much aggressive and ignorant driving. I know you are stressed and the kids are taking forever to get ready and can't find their ties or whatever, but one mistake in your car is someone else's visit to a hospital or worse.

Slow the fkk DOWN.

Very sorry to hear that. Another young life wasted in an instant.

If cars were banned and public transport was a priority, accessible and efficient, then I'd quite happily give up my vehicle. One day this might be the case, then most of the pollution, injury, death and madness would go away.

I'm doing OK,can't imagine what the family must be going thrgouh.

son was quite upset this morning. He has braved it and gone to school today.

Yet any folk who go around calling out people on their phones are marked as Grasses who should mind their own business, they won't care until it affects them

Leaves me absolutely furious. I live on a side street off a road that gets fairly busy, but not crazy at rush hour times, problem is, when people turn onto our street, they still go 30-40 miles per hour.

There's a few people from time to time who speed up here at ridiculous speeds, engines going like the clappers, usually the BMW/Audi crowd. Only a matter of time before someone gets hit, loads of young families around here.

Idiots.
