Hayden Coulson

Doesn't really have the technique or composure to play high up the pitch and has a big blindside when playing left back. I kinda like him as a gritty wingback.

I very much like the look of Coulson, if it would be possible to send him out on loan for more game time and bring another left back in on loan.. I'd do that.

What he has you can't really teach. Pace and trickery and at times it looks like he can just go past people at will.

The other stuff you can work on.

No better role model than Johnson you'd think. Marvin doesn't have the tricks and pace but his decision making and final ball are far superior.

Johnson probably isn't as naturally talented as Coulson but he's currently a more intelligent player and that makes him more effective even if he's not as flashy.

He's a very good young player who was arguably our best player last season. He'll come good once he can get a run in the side. Just like Roberts he's not had enough game time to build up match fitness

Not sure if he was just trying too hard, going forward tonight, but his decision making was very poor, and his defensive frailties stood out like a sore thumb again.
Agreed, good dribbling ability, but without any end product (he can't shoot and his crossing is below average), then it's pointless. His decision making is awful and defensively he is very poor. Will end up in League One that is his level.

Have come to appreciate Spence more out of the two as he covers so much ground.
But could either of the be considered natural 'wingers' or 'full backs' I don't think so.
I think Spence could become a natural fullback still only 20, I think in 2 years he will be established as a top champ quality RB
