Hasta la Vista Baby

Two in one day claiming a 'clique' on complaining about a pile on when there's been no such thing. The only post I recall that went OTT had the poster rightly pulled up by members the would refer to as 'the clique' so it doesn't make any sense.

The reality is that the posters in question are strangely absent when the multitude of awful and even sinister scandals that have engulfed their party are discussed and when they then try baiting they get upset when people make rational and reasoned arguments back.

They see that as a 'pile on' and portray themselves of victims of this lefty clique while they refuse to acknowledge any wrongdoing by their party that affect millions of people across the UK.

I think it's called Stockholm Syndrome.

What a guy! Not the worst PM we’ve had clearly not the best either!

Always thought you were either a troll or a Tory shill. Was only ever a matter of time before you outed yourself definitively as one or the other.

The only thing I couldn’t figure out, was why it took so long for people to see through that little act of yours, despite it being pretty transparent to others.

There was an article I read a while ago about a bloke who was writing about the worst US presidents. They asked him about criteria he was using and it mainly came down to how many peoples deaths could be attributed to them. That's pretty much what I go for as well. Pretty tricky because, how many peoples deaths did Cameron's austerity cause, how culpable is Johnson for COVID deaths when he was in an unprecedented situation. The most hard to quantify of all would be future deaths. They've all been pretty terrible in terms of the environment. Much more should be done. After that I add the things which I care about. Housing. Public services. I tend to think of a prime minister being in captain of a ship at sea. It's difficult to judge who is the best captain if one has clear blue skies while the other sails through a hurricane.

He said Nixon was the worst by the way. Vietnam. Not to mention the flying nuclear armed bombers at the Soviets to try and convince them he was mental.
I was going to say it would be Nixon.

But trump beats that now I’d say in most divisive

Where would we have been if Johnson hadn’t secured a majority - we had 4 years of paralysis
And no end in sight. You might not like the outcome but he was the only person interested in pushing it through.
We've had paralysis since he stepped into office. He's been drunk in charge for three years.

He's had all the chances in the world since he was born yet he doesn't know how to behave properly.

Who do you fancy as his replacement then, the 'snake' or the 'moron'?

I used to think that FatCat and that Cooper bloke were the same poster using two different accounts. I'm not so sure about that now though. FatCat can be OK when he isn't talking about politics. Cooper only ever posted about politics until he got banned.

An absolute chunt - churned out from that factory of chuntery Eton, who have provided us with a never ending supply of chunts to lord it over us across the decades

Thatcher outdoes him in the damage done to the working man stakes, but Johnson is way out in front of even her in how he's sullied the whole democratic process and turned politics into an exercise in self- enrichment.
Disagree with you there. Thing is I don’t think we have seen the limit and full impact of the damage he has done yet. The muddled fiscal policies, the profligacy and fraud that will have to be paid for, the disinvestment in public services and impending death of the NHS but perhaps worst of all the dismantling of democratic accountability and law that will enable them to do so much more in the future. He’s the worst so far without doubt. Watch out for the ERG puppet Truss. She may not be around for long but it’s going to be a bumpy ride!

Have to agree. The damage is long and devastating to a great swathe of the population. Only the billionnaires and non tax paying non doms will have been protected from the economic fallout from his damaging 3 years in office.
