Thatcher outdoes him in the damage done to the working man stakes, but Johnson is way out in front of even her in how he's sullied the whole democratic process and turned politics into an exercise in self- enrichment.
Yes, Thatcher implemented her disastrous policies within the normal democratic framework (albeit it was the fillip of Falklands war that got her back in to complete it) but Johnson has trashed Parliament and democracy and reduced the UK's politics to the level of the USA's.Thatcher outdoes him in the damage done to the working man stakes, but Johnson is way out in front of even her in how he's sullied the whole democratic process and turned politics into an exercise in self- enrichment.
I've thought about that and I'm not sure. Even Thatcher didn't have children being fed by charity. Even Thatcher didn't defund the NHS or hand out billions in dodgy deals to her chums. Didn't attend meetings with foreign agents. Didn't lie to Parliament or the Queen...Thatcher outdoes him in the damage done to the working man stakes
It just seems odd to me. I know some people get some sort of weird thrill out of Internet trolling. It seeks odd to make yourself look like a scumbag to do it though. There's nowt so queer as folk is there?@FatCat posts a deliberately provocative post and despite numerous replies asking for clarification he doesn't answer. Yet he was viewing this thread 14 minutes ago.
It's called trolling / fishing I believe
Is it worst at the bottom or at the top?Gordon brown
John major
Theresa may
David cameron
Boris Johnson
Tony blair
That's my ranking. Gordon brown is top by default. The bottom two are there because of all the people died on their watch that they have culpability for. Points are rewarded for the three policies brought in to help renters. Points are deducted for wholesale destruction of public services. If it wasn't for Iraq then Blair would be top. I think dismissing those half a million deaths would be the height of racism though.

No I wouldn't say it was racist. A bit daft though. But that's a tired old debate that's I can't be bothered with.Gordon Brown top by default?
How are you working that one out?
Oh and I'm not dismissing the half a million deaths but I am dismissing Blair's complicity.
Does that still make me a racist?
Got things doneYes Iβd go with Blair and his phoney war. Johnson may not be popular but he got things done despite the naysayers, Brexit for one we had spent enough years messing about with that, only someone of his gravitas could have forced that through in the way he did.
Ps weegord im at work and did have a look earlier but then got something urgent to do. Off into a couple of meetings for the next hour so no need for you to monitor how long Iβll be gone for :1)
Oh good, I think that's called trolling. Well done youNo I wouldn't say it was racist. A bit daft though. But that's a tired old debate that's I can't be bothered with.
I think it will turn out that Brexit got the UK done.He got Brexit done
Definitely trolling if he repeats the got Brexit done lie.Got things done
But of course thereβs no clique. You need people like me on here to keep you guys honest - you talk about debate but gang up on anybody with a different view.Definitely trolling if he repeats the got Brexit done lie.
Shame. We don't need people like that on here
