I wouldn’t say he was widely praised for his attacking outlet. Yes he was decent but very few goals/assists etc.

Parky wasn’t widely acclaimed. He was a loveable member of a lovable squad with a good shot on him but he was often criticised for his defensive ability.

Queudrue a good shout from a Boro perspective, although everyone seemed to have the knives out for him for much of his career regardless.
