Has George Russell proved the car is actually the star?

not for me really. I dont remember seeing many interesting scraps between a 1st and 2nd placed Mercedes since they had their hands burned by rosberg and Hamilton
 
I think you could put Mansell, Hill or Coultard in that car today and they would win the World Championship. Every one asked the question is it Hamilton or the car. I think we know the answer. Would love to see what Bottas could do in Hamilton’s car!
 
I would say that you could put almost any f1 driver in this Mercedes car and they would finish second in the drivers championship

Winning it is something else however while lewis is in the other one.

The key here is this: consecutive points finishes. The man has been performing at the highest level week in week out for years.

compare this to the other supposed best drivers on the grid. Two of which are already out of this race.

im not sure why I even bother to reply to be honest. If someone questions Hamilton’s ability at this point it’s obviously personal and beyond reason. But hey ho

how any single person can criticise hamilton after that drive this year at Turkey, in the wet, is way beyond me. He totally shamed the field and people need to stop the hatred towards brilliant british sports people.
