Yep, if you are a wealthy chap and are prepared to scoff a pizza in Ingleby Barwick, you can have a seat at an even more inflated priceIm guessing by 'general admission' they mean corporate seats are still available?

I think you are mostly right on the segregation issue, there is to many seats in it, I don't think this is the match too narrow it, our fans and Cov have a bad rep for throwing things. Maybe going forward some type of netting could be introduced either side of the away fans to stop objects being launched hitting opposition fans. Not really a sellout when there are around 2,500 unsold seats.

Have MFC stated that?I’m not sure how many times we have to go over the fact that it’s the internal layout that prevents the segregation being reduced further.
Yes, have a read of the Fan Forum minutes.Have MFC stated that?
Maybe just reconfigure the internal layout.Yes, have a read of the Fan Forum minutes.
If the club are bothered about maximising the other 2-3k seats they club need to either think about putting the away fans on the north stand or swapping back to the south stand. As someone who attended right through since attendances plummeted under Strachen, I’m not sure there would be much point for the sake of a few games a season unless they were going to do any sort of major work to the stadium anyway (eg build another tier)

If I’m remembering correctly, the internal layout change might not be possible as we would need to have provision for a bigger away following for cup games.Maybe just reconfigure the internal layout.
It would be worth the effort if we reach the prem.
I note that last time were in the prem we managed to accommodate 32,700.
Coventry are even worse than us. Sold out their game against Brum - 28.5k inc. 4.5k Blue Noses. Not really a sellout when there are around 2,500 unsold seats.
Yes, I saw that, but at least they then made investigations and were able to release an additional 1,000.Coventry are even worse than us. Sold out their game against Brum - 28.5k inc. 4.5k Blue Noses.
The Ricoh holds 32,609, so that's 4,109 empty seats for a sell out. Ridiculous!
You can’t move season ticket holders form the North Stand. Most of us have been following the Boro longer than those on the South Stand have been alive.I don't think they'd ever put them in the North stand: it's probably the least accessible point of the ground for getting away fans in and out.
100% agree. Sat there since 1995 and before that at Ayresome Park. You can’t move season ticket holders form the North Stand. Most of us have been following the Boro longer than those on the South Stand have been alive.
