Grealish

Fully agree with this. People have often wondered how Gazza’s career would have done had he gone to Man Utd and in truth I’m not sure he wouldn’t have just ended up at Tottenham anyway. Ferguson wouldn’t have tolerated some of the nonsense.

I don’t see many parallels between Gazza and Grealish really but only minor comment is that nobody really saw how badly it would go for Gazza mentally/health wise back in 1990, even then people thought he was just a lovable rogue and liked a drink. And as said above, the media love to see a sport star on the ****.
Fergie said he had the Geordies Robson, Bruce & Pallister who would take care of him. Paul McGrath was there at the time.. he liked a drink. Lee Sharpe was a bit of a party boy by all accounts. I wonder if Gazza would have went completely off the rails.. or even worse.. went on to join Leeds!

If i go out on three day bender

Locked out
A disgrace
Need help
Time to grow up

Grealish does it - Legend.

But in all seriousness, i think he is great. Some of his interviews post match are the most genuine and honest i have seen. As has been said, he is a normal lad who really appreciates the gift of being able to be a professional footballer. He also likes to enjoy himself and why the hell not.
