I've always liked him, said before he was unlucky that prior to his injury he could have been our top goalscorer, not hard I know, but for me he's a presence at both ends
 
I think you've just got it in for Saville. The ball was bobbling as it was all game (shocking pitch) and took time to come down. The pass was slightly heavy but Bolasie will admit himself it was a bad miss and he'd have buried it nine times out of ten..

I don't have it in for Saville, he should be starting for me.
5 goals and 4 assists is a good return from midfield.

I'm explaining what I think the other poster meant, as it was a bad pass from Saville.
 
Slightly heavy, no more. Everything was running away on that pitch but it was not bad enough to be used as an excuse for a miss from that position and I think Bolasie is our best forward.

Good to see that somebody can see what is happening in front of their eyes.
Saville was running down the centre of the penalty area with only the keeper to beat.
Bolassie is to the left of the goal with a player between him and Saville and the keeper to beat.

It was Saville's chance and he bottled it by passing to Bolassie.
 
You can see it anyway you want. There was no player between Bolasie and the keeper. You could argue that Saville passed to a player in a better (or similar) position to himself who is normally a far better finisher. If Saville had shot and missed you would have probably been claiming he should have passed to Bolasie. It all about opinions so I'll leave it there.
 
Saville had two players either side of him and bolasie in front of him. On that pitch and savilles speed he picked a pass that put a good player through on goal who missed. Bolasie should have scored and that's all.

Saville got our winner and played a decent assist to put the game beyond doubt but dont let that get in the way of your sniping on a player who scores more than most our midfield and strikers.
