Good to see Leo involved.

Leo was more involved with the team selection and coaching during our injury crisis and better run mid season. Keane was back home in ireland for a few weeks ill. Some say Leo was basically running everything for those few weeks with Woodgate doing everything he suggested. Then Keane came back and normal service resumes. Experience counts a lot in this game.

Why was Robbie Keane at the club? What did he bring to the table? I can see what Leo brings to the table, he’s a clever chap. Doesn’t miss a trick. Danny Coyne is a great coach too. We have a good back room team.
How can you see Leo is a clever chap and doesn't miss a trick ? Are you a mind reader ??

Seen this spouted so many times. Keane was at West Brom and Preston, I know Cos I was at both games he came over limping to clap the fans. He had a injured leg. The only thing Keane wasn’t doing during that period was the pre match drills like he usually did. He was still Woodgates go to man at that time Cos you could see them speaking at the dug out. Glad he and Woodgate have gone but hate it when people spout *****

In all seriousness why?
What has he brought to a team lying 4th bottom on goal difference after an abject performance last Saturday.

I’d have thought a complete clear out was in order

Being a bit shouty doesn’t really cut it.
Questioning new manager's judgement already!

I have passion and love for the club and area - that doesn’t mean I am the right bloke to enjoy a major coaching role at one of the top 30 football clubs in England. That’s not enough. He was part of the 3 stooges who picked that team on Saturday and overseen the car crash of a season so far. Warnock’s not daft, he follows football and has brought experienced heads in with him. If he is relying on Leo for anything we are in bigger trouble than I thought.

With the greatest respect, unless you're a senior member of MFC staff, you haven't got the faintest idea of what Leo does or doesn't contribute to the coaching at the club - it's your pure speculation.

I'd suggest the fact that the man you describe as "not daft" has chosen to keep him on suggests he's seen as an asset because (and yes, this is speculation also) Warnock was definitely in a position where he could and did dictate who would be part of his coaching team before he agreed to take the job

I always find it weird that fans seem capable of judging a coach without being at training.

Plenty of people on here slating Robbie Keane and bigging up Leo, how on earth does anyone have a clue what they do? or how good they are at their jobs?

I've seen him with the ballboys, with the linesmen, the referees, he handles pish takers on the opposition bench. ticks a lot of boxes that we've not had before.

I'm in the 'not convinced' camp either I'm afraid. I like the guy and I feel for him, as everyone does but I'm not convinced and I'm not sure what expertise he brings.

No one really knows what goes on in training etc but look at the clubs he has worked at over the years, dont get those sort of jobs without being a good coach
