Good to see Leo involved.

In all seriousness why?
What has he brought to a team lying 4th bottom on goal difference after an abject performance last Saturday.

I’d have thought a complete clear out was in order

Being a bit shouty doesn’t really cut it.
Agreed!! Something to appease the fans along with the village announcement.

I don't understand why you'd keep him on. He has been part of the problem, not part of the solution. I think he'll be dispensed with pdq.

Can you tell me what Leo actually does? What value does he add? Apart from being a chump on the touch line winding other teams benches up what is his contribution? A guy who has faced tremendous personal tragedy in his life and who we all have some sympathy for but I would have asked him to go with Woodgate and Keane today and have a completely fresh start with no links to past regimes.

We've kept Coyne on too.

I think that would have been fine if it was the close season Duffman and the new management team were going to get a full pre-season with the squad. These are different circumstances and we need to hit the ground running immediately. To do that we need some continuity otherwise Warnock and the new guys are going to really struggle getting to know the players and club set-up.

I think Karanka probably appointed Leo as he knew he needed a big character as a contrast to his more reserved nature. Whether he adds anything as a coach I don't know, he was keeper coach under AK so it's odd that he's now .working as a general coach. Nothing against him being there though now Warnock has got his own men in

I have passion and love for the club and area - that doesn’t mean I am the right bloke to enjoy a major coaching role at one of the top 30 football clubs in England. That’s not enough. He was part of the 3 stooges who picked that team on Saturday and overseen the car crash of a season so far. Warnock’s not daft, he follows football and has brought experienced heads in with him. If he is relying on Leo for anything we are in bigger trouble than I thought.

I agree with others and find his antics on the touchline winding the opposing coaching staff up embarrassing and unprofessional. Playground antics on the bench doesn't make him a fans favourite in my book. He'd be OK in a bar brawl I guess. Yeah agree his personal tragedy was awful.

Why was Robbie Keane at the club? What did he bring to the table? I can see what Leo brings to the table, he’s a clever chap. Doesn’t miss a trick. Danny Coyne is a great coach too. We have a good back room team.

I think you have to have some sort of continuity when you've only been given 5 days before the next match.
Leo knows all the players and his advice will be sought. Whether it's taken or not is up to the new boss, but a complete clean sweep of management team takes time to bed in, and time is something we haven't got.
