GOOD LUCK WATFORD

Joao Pedro no longer in the Watford side with his £30m sale to Brighton imminent.
Good signing for Brighton that and for a decent fee. They wanted 40m for him last summer. Brighton seem to buy relatively low and sell relatively high. Golden days for them atm.
Currentry thrashing Wolves.

No on really sustains that model for long. 4-5 seasons, they'll be the next Southampton.

Nothing against them though, but they should enjoy it while it lasts.

Don't know what's worse, a Sunderland win, or the impending bullish claptrap from a victorious Wilder.

He'll be telling all and sundry how he knows what a promotion winning side looks like, and how he'd be willing to stick around to drag the Hornets up next season with his shopping list from the Pedro cash.

The Sunderland win

Wilder's speeches don't mean a jot anymore

That's not even a tough choice.

Wilder is leaving Watford in a week, and they can't make the play-offs.

I'd happily watch Wilder give a speech outside Number 10 if they win.

If Sunderland lose this, and Blackburn win on Monday, then Sunderland cannot make the play-offs as it stands.
How?

Sunderland can get to 68 points and have a better goal difference than both Blackburn and Millwall according to the live table on the BBC website.

Blackburn and Millwall play each other.

If Blackburn get a point on Monday, then any result on the last day prevents Sunderland catching them.

Millwall win and they're on 71.
Draw and they're on 69.
Blackburn win and they'd be on 69.

Watford offering nothing. Can see them rolling over and having their tummies tickled if mackems get 1
