Does anybody know if there's anywhere local that buy golf clubs. They're just sitting gathering dust and are a decent enough set.

It depends what they are and if there’s value in them. You could try American golf but most places will only do trade in. Try golfbidder or Golfclubs4cash though. They will buy them. Both online but they will give you a postage label.
 
What have you got and how much are you looking for. I still use my very cheap set and get round OK with them but been thinking about an upgrade.

MacGregor mc600 irons, 9-3 pw and sw. Mizuno mp.001 driver and 5 wood. Mizuno fli-hi 20⁰ hybrid, mizuno wizard evolution 18⁰ hybrid. There's a few odd srixon irons as well that I'd just throw in. They're from a better set but I've misplaced the rest. I'm looking at £100 for the lot. There's a Nike golf bag and little trolley too.
 
I have done all of the above this morning. I think the driver and 5 wood are going for £35 each alone on ebay so I'd think 100 was reasonable. Cheers everyone 👍
 
I once put an old maxfli set on FB marketplace for free. Interest from 3 folk who failed to turn up. Then put them on ebay and was contacted by a golf centre in the mids who offered £75 buy now. And they collected.
One man's garbage is truly another man's gold.
