At a time when some people are struggling to put food on the table it strikes me that things like this are a bit wrong.
How much would a 6lb steak cost out of interest? Being a veggie means I'm very much in the dark about meat prices.

I find the, fascinating. Check out bears meets food. He has a great YouTube channel, it was were I first heard about Leah Shutkever.

Do you mean Beard Meets Food? I watch his videos sometimes, mainly out of morbid curiosity, especially now I'm on a lot "cleaner" diet after my heart thingy. He's in very good shape and fasts a lot between these big meals and travels to the states to take part in some of the ridiculous challenges over there. Seems like quite a decent bloke as well, down to earth and friendly.

Edit: just watched some of that. Impressive eating speed but with all the sniffing, and no commentary or banter during the eating, I'm not inclined to watch any more. Beard is better to watch, IMO.

Sorry yeah I meant beard. Yeah he’s a decent guy isn’t he? He once did a “none competing” day challenge and he ate about 200 calories. Had one small sandwich for the whole day
