Ghislane Maxwell

Not in the way you are assuming he is.

At least the FBI have her and not the CIA.

His name was mentioned on the BBC Radio broadcast by a lawyer this morning, british based but an 'expert' in the USA legal system - he also added that a bargaining deal may not be offered. obviously he did all the 'presumptive, alleged, hypotheticals etc' before responding.

he said trial(s) etc would be more than a year away, with several court hearings before that.

Trump and the FBI dont get on in anyway shape or form and his goonered some of their top brass and lawyers during this term of office - so who knows what twists and turns are ahead..

Just look at his AG now William Barr

from rollingstone

Attorney General Bill Barr and Epstein go way back: back in the early 1970s, Barr’s father hired Epstein to work as a physics and math teacher at the elite Manhattan private school Dalton, despite the fact that Epstein did not have a college degree. Following Epstein’s arrest, former FBI assistant director Frank Figliuzzi hinted that Barr could “attempt to interfere” with the prosecution of the case, though this would be unlikely given the “obvious” link between the two men. During his confirmation hearings, Barr himself said he would likely recuse himself from any involvement with the Epstein case, as he previously served as counsel for the law firm Kirkland and Ellis, which also represented Epstein in negotiating the terms of his 2007 plea agreement. But in an essay for the Daily Beast, former federal prosecutor Mimi Rocah expressed concern that Barr wouldn’t keep his word in this regard: “while it pains me to say this, given Barr’s conduct in the past acting more as a defense attorney for Trump than an overseer of justice, I am concerned that Barr might interfere if he thought that Epstein might implicate Trump, who was friends with Epstein,” she wrote.

Surprised she didn't get on a plane out of the US PDQ, after Epstein was arrested.
American justice system is massively flwaed with their stupid plea bargaining. Ask Conrad
The house she was arrested in in new Hampshire cost one million dollars that she paid for with cash under a fake alias. Been hiding all over America

With what she probably has on a certain royal , plus many other "senior" figures in Britain I would say the U.S. was a safer bet for her than most places. They have made it clear they were watching her the whole time.
I would like to bet Diana would have preferred being "monitored" by the F.B.I. than left to the u.k. secret services dogs

So the Fresh Prince isn't the main prize, be interesting if in his arrogance he dropped big D in the clarts just to save his own backside

Lets face it he has the arrogance “it was just a normal shooting party, nothing special” ffs

Plea bargaining happens everywhere, not just the US.
Is it - ? I really dont know
But if the offer is 1 year if pleading guilty and 20 years if plead not guilty and found guilty I know which I would take even if I was innocent.

Recall a british bloke some years back who pleaded guilty for smuggling a missile battery - which was basicly nonsense but he took the guilty option even though it was obvious he had not anything to warrant a long sentence. A battery is a battery.

for sure, i thought she was ensconced in Israel, what she was trying to do hiding in the USA is a little naïve.

it looks like a trace back to her property lawyers in Chicago was the breakthrough, she is not named or mentioned in any house purchase documentation, and the seller wasnt aware or had ever met her - only, the outfit that did purchase the property had a new company address, and that turned out to be the same as her lawyers in Chicago.
She has allegedly visited Japan, UK and New Zealand over the past 12 months according to some reports. It's tricky though as if you look on the wrong place you get dragged down a very deep rabbit hole.
Be interesting to see how the next 4 weeks play out.

I love how prince andrews defence with Epstein basically consisted of saying I wasn’t his friend I barely knew him as I knew ghislane she was my friend no she’s the one I knew not him. That was after she disappeared off the face of the earth.

So let’s see him worm his way out of this then now it’s his freeing who’s in the dock.

I'm fairly sure you'd have to be friends with him to get access to the Queen's throne room.
