Be interesting to see what level of crowd turns up if they get near full the geordies truly are sport washed/ converted or under the Saudi spell

They certainly picked the right club the Saudis. I wonder if they were advised that most of the Geordie fan base were so desperate/deluded they'd happily do a deal with the devil in exchange for the illusion of success.

While I'm sure plenty of fans of other clubs would take the same deal, I can't think of any other club they'd be so brazen about celebrating it and openly defending the regime. You'd just keep quiet surely? Their LGBTQ+ supporters group seems to sum them up. Any values they have can be compromised for a price. It's pathetic and shameful.

Feel sorry for their fans who are against this. But they seem to be in a minority.
 
I work in Newcastle and there simply isn't a fan I've seen that cares about the ownership. The first to cry about Mike Ashley's business practices cannot wait to 'whatabout' when it comes to the Saudis

They would literally have anything or anyone in if it gave them a taste of success. They genuinely believe this is them having their club back. The weirdest of breeds
 
I have found that if you speak to Newcastle fans about stuff other than football they are absolutely fine.

Once football is mentioned it's as if their IQ halves and they lose any sense of perspective or rational thought. Very odd.

It does explain their love affair with the Saudis though.

they are a joke and one day the stadium will fall in and the world will be a far happier place
