This really really upsets me. That fellow human beings can be so inhumane to reduce taking another life to such a thoughless heartless process devoid of any kind of human logical consideration. Computor says........... murder.

I've recently followed a technical AI assessment at work and carried out a sense check. It has proved to have been utterly worthless, and in fact worse..... has cost more to correct because we'll have to pay humans to do the work correctly anyway. It's only as good as the info/options it's populated with and once overlapping scenarios are introduced it can't cope because inevitably it cant weigh the cumulative balance.

This line especially is unhinged. They're talking about killing 15-20 civilians alongside someone their AI has decided is a potential target and the only thing they're worried about is how much the bomb costs. Psychotic.

'Following October 7th, Hamas leaders celebrated their barbarism and called for it to be repeated. Sinwar proclaimed: “The leaders of the occupation should know. October 7 was just a rehearsal.” Ghazi Hamad, a member of the Hamas politburo, called for more attacks and the annihilation of Israel, saying “We will do this again and again.”

The remarks by Ghazi Hamad, a member of Hamas’s political bureau, were swiftly shared online by Israeli and Western officials as a vindication of the Jewish state’s resolve to destroy the terror group’s military capabilities in its ongoing war in Gaza, and as proof that no ceasefire can be reached until the threat of additional murderous attacks is removed.

“Israel is a country that has no place on our land,” Hamad said in an interview with Lebanese TV channel LBC on October 24, which was translated and published by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI). “We must remove it because it constitutes a security, military and political catastrophe to the Arab and Islamic nation. We are not ashamed to say this.”

In the interview, Hamad said that Israel’s existence is “illogical” and that it must be wiped off all “Palestinian lands,” a term the terror group uses to mean the West Bank, Gaza and Israel, minus the Golan Heights.

When asked whether this meant the complete annihilation of Israel, Hamad replied: “Yes, of course.”

“We must teach Israel a lesson, and we will do it twice and three times. The Al-Aqsa Deluge [the name Hamas gave its October 7 onslaught] is just the first time, and there will be a second, a third, a fourth,” Hamad continued. “Will we have to pay a price? Yes, and we are ready to pay it. We are called a nation of martyrs, and we are proud to sacrifice martyrs.”

I wouldn't like to see Israel carpet bombed for what their government has done any more than Gaza is being razed to the ground, right now.
It is dangerous for you to use the Hamas atrocity to excuse what is happening in Gaza.

EDIT: After a rethink - you are actually justifying what is happening in Gaza. That is so, so wrong. You are aware of the history, right? I can ask patronising questions, too.

So Hamas are religiously motivated evil zealots determined to bring about genocide and are more than happy to murder innocent people to further their cause, but Israel are exactly the same.
Two sides of the same coin if you ask me. Hamas are terrorists and war criminals, so are Israel.
Maybe Israel are justified because they all wear uniforms and do all their murdering of women and children officially, and much more efficiently.

I am not justifying it at all and I am aware of history.

You can understand underlying motivations without that being support.
 
In March 1944 a group of Italian partisans attacked and killed some 30 of a German police battalion in Via Rasella in Rome. This was followed swiftly by an atrocity known as The Ardeatine Massacre - reprisal killings whereby the German Armed Forces Commandant in Rome, Kurt Mälzer decided Italians would be shot in the ratio of 10:1. In the event 335 Italians were murdered. Eventually Mälzer was convicted of war crimes and sentenced to death, commuted to life imprisonment. He died in prison.

The reprisal ratio for the Hamas outrage currently stands at 34:1.

true, but their supporters believe every word. You'd think that they'd realize that their entire knowledge base is essentially the History of Israel by Israel. The fact that even Holocaust survivors are against them would put them to shame, but it just emboldens them
