The Hamas attack was an atrocity but two despicable wrongs do not make a right.
Netanyahu is a monster.
The usual labelling of any criticism of Israel as anti-semitic has to stop. Forever.

These are crimes against humanity, no matter what particular fairy story you happen to be brainwashed into.

Criticism of Israeli Zionist government policy is not antisemitism this needs to be called out, I also have issues with Saudi Arabia's human rights record but does not make me Islamophobic. 5% population of Gaza killed by bombing most of them children and many now starving if anyone thinks calling this out is antisemitism is a deluded nutter.
 
Netanyahu has done more damage to the Israelis and the increasing levels of global anti semitism in the last 6 months than Hamas could do in a life time, and yet nearly 90% of Israelis are still in full support of him and his actions.

He will not stop until the whole of the Gaz strip has been wiped out, and then he will start on the West Bank.

yet again the world is watching a Genocide unfold and just sitting in comfy chairs issuing meaningless votes

The UN call for a ceasefire is completely worthless and wont stop them, there is an immediate need for peacekeepers to go in and preserve life

“The numbers are not real. That much is obvious to anyone who understands how naturally occurring numbers work. The casualties are not overwhelmingly women and children, and the majority may be Hamas fighters,” writes Abraham Wyner, a professor of statistics and data science at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and the report’s author.

This may be right and we may not know the true figures , but it is an undeniable fact that Israel are commiting war crimes on a daily basis and they're not even trying to hide it. They'll send out a spokesman saying it's all fake news but then you go online and can witness the atrocities for yourself. Struggling to comprehend how the west are letting this happen.

I could answer you without being an apologist for Israel.

However it would be taken that I was and having received a pile on and a few days suspension for posting a skit on Greta Thunberg I'm not inclined to.
 
Netanyahu and his supporters are basically using the collective guilt of the west over the holocaust (and subsequent history) to commit atrocities and get away with limited condemnation. I've no doubt they're well aware that's whats happening and are emboldened by it.

An utter disgrace to the memory of the victims of it.

Most western countries also need to get over themselves, stop the hand wringing and deal with Israel based on its actions in the here and now. What has happened to the Jewish people in the past is a stain on humanity.

It does not give the state of Israel a pass to commit atrocities of its own.

I'm not sure this is at all relevant as it is Manns opinion and was a spat about climate change and Wyner was paid as an expert witness - common in the US.

I read the original paper and formed my own opinion and I would urge others to read the original paper by Wyner and make your own judgement about it's validity.

But they didn't - UNICEF quoted the Palestinian Ministry of Health. They have not claimed to have verified the numbers as far as I can tell.
Also a quote from X from a self confessed supporter of Palestine is hardly conclusive.

It's a truly dreadful situation without inflating figures - I mean this in general not aimed at you Roofie.
