Formula 1

I've been a fan since the 70's. What happened in 2021 disgusted me and I thought I would stop watching but have carried on out of habit.
Redbulls dominance has come from spending more (and trying to hide it) and the cowering leadership of the sport.
The race result has become incidental and predictable , however those teams that seem to have followed the rules are maturing at similar levels and this has led to the midfield racing becoming quite spectacular. The racing from around P6 to P14 has been great to watch.
Verstappens legacy will always be tarnished for me as he was gifted one title illegally for me and bought the next one.He is a great driver there's no doubt about that but with a tarnished record.

Ok. Hmm. So World Cup and European Cup football is not any good. Neither is 6N rugby, Premiership rugby, or Wimbledon Tennis, or the Grand National, or the FA cup final, or the Olympics, or the World Championship athletics or Diamond league... or...
certain events such as world cup are protected by law, in regards to being freely accessible to all. That includes almost everything you listed above.

Even the olympics in 2021 was rubbish on the BBC as they no longer has exclusive rights and had to show content that wasn’t live half the time

Wow starting to feel a little happier after years in the doldrums Williams actually had both cars in the top 5 in a practice session.

Not a fan of F1 but was there today as my son loves it and I promised I’d take him after his GCSE’s finished.

Never seen as many people at an event, and that was at first practice, must be crazy on race day. Not sure why it attracts such massive crowds, you get such a limited view of the circuit from just about any vantage point and it’s much easier to watch on TV.

Certainly an experience though and enjoyed it. Saw a lot of Boro shirts too.

I used to go to the British GP every year till prices became a total joke. Went to brands hatch for the European GP in 1985 to Nigel win his 1st race. If you climbed up the old advertising boards you had an amazing view at Silverstone, police couldn't come up and get you 😁😁😁
