Forest offer £10m for Tav

We should be making Jakobson our number one target, followed by Adam Armstrong imo - him and Armstrong would be one of the best, if not the best front two in this league
 
Who ever comes in I hope atkesst one is perm and capable of atleast doing a job in the prem . That would rule out a permanent deal for Armstrong mind but a great loan
 
If we spend £10m borrowing Muniz and Armstrong we need our bumps felt.
You could buy Goykeres and Riis for that and the annual cost in amortisation and wages would be less than that.
I simply don’t believe those figures, especially for those players.
 
Apparently Forest are set to sign Lewis O’Brien and Harry Toffolo from Huddersfield for a combined £10m, O’Brien a very similar player to Tav.
 
Not interested in selling Tav - it would have to be very silly money for me to sell him, certainly no where near £10m.

There was rumours that he went off against York not because he was injured, but because he found out before the game that Bournemouth had made enquiries, were told he was not for sale and he hadn't been informed - so he walked off in a strop.

I know you're just passing on the rumour, so not having a go but seems very unlikely (and is an easy rumour for someone to make up).

Unless he's somehow heard about it halfway through the game surely he'd just have refused to play in the first place if he was going to make a protest? Doesn't make much sense.
 
Appears to be a bit of traction in this.

The other issue is if he wants to leave? The moment he wants to then get the best price possible and move on. If he's happy to stay then fight tooth and nail to keep him.

He's stroppy at the best of times😂

I'm not saying it was a credible rumour, just replying to the comment that there have been absolutely no rumours.
Although it was posted on twitter before there was any other mention of Bournemouth so it does actually look more possible now.

that's clearly nonsense if that were the case he wouldn't have gone on at half time. He also played the full 90 vs Braga again if he was stropping he wouldn't have done that.

If it was Liverpool in for him I could see the point, but it's 2 newly promoted teams, I mean no one goes in a strop to join Forest who will rightly be relegation faves or Bouornemouth with their 8,500 fans.

Gossip clickbait junk websites, Everton are interested as well now.
If he’s off, the more interested clubs, the better!
I hope nothing materialises though.
 
If it wasn't absolutely necessary to sell this window, I would say to Tav that he could go if we weren't in the top 6 in January, which would take us past the World Cup and mean that we aren't left with a weakened left-side while McGree is away. If he does want to go now (he'll perhaps see Spence on Premier League wages and think he's worth the same) then there's not much point keeping an unsettled player.
