Forest offer £10m for Tav

I think we’d be better off holding on to him based on his age and valuation to likely go up , wel end up paying more in a years time for that those of players . Unless of course the manger feels we can do better with the money coming in 🤷🏻‍♂️

Really worries and annoys me how much our fan base underrates Tav.
Fortunately it’s really only Wilder and his coaching staff who’s opinion matters.

I like Tav, and hope we keep him as he’s fundamental to our team, but he isn’t irreplaceable, especially if someone wants to pay big money (£20m) for him.

We have 14 players. One of which is a loan.

We need money to buy a squad. We need to stop plugging gaps with loans and burning what money we have.

Same recruitment team/negotiator won’t change their spots.

The thing with Tav is you see how much we miss him when he isn't on the pitch - such a positive all round midfielder.

Sounds like there's a few clubs sniffing now. £20m+ and I'd reluctantly accept, anything less would feel a little disappointing.

We have kept hold of players too long in the past and lost out big time, every player has his value, if its met he will go and rightly so.
Don't want him to but if it's right for the club then so be it

According to the [always-objective-no gossip-no rumours] Talk Sport just now>>>
Boro have placed a £15M price tag on Tav.

For me - answer offers from any club>>>
£10M = get stuffed
£15M = only with add-ons worth £MMMMM
£20M = OK + add-ons.

£15m and he will be gone IMO. Will take some replacing but I wish him well.
Ohare going to Burnley for £9m , he is the type we need , but can we afford it ?
Obrien and Toffollo going to Forest for initial £10m so any bid around £12m will probably be considered , hopefully Everton and Leicester come In and start a bidding war. Missing out on Ohare , the next one I would go for is Chair.

Maybe the better deal would involve Leicester with their midfielder we’ve been linked with coming in on a permanent
I think we should definetly throw some sort of part ex in with the interested clubs. With Forest I would take Sam Surridge. With Leicester Chowdury. Bournemouth maybe Ben Pearson.

Key point here is if player is unhappy and wants to leave then he's gone.
A massive part of our team,I would replace him with Callum o Hare and Jason Knight from Derby.
there is absolutely no rumours that he is unhappy. He has always been committed to us. Bournemouth is a no, why would he go there, they're going to be on for a brutal season, then what, playing in front of 8,500 fans at dean court in the champo under yet another manager?

As for Forest, splashing lots of money on players, but, not bringing any premier league experience in, reminds me a lot of Fulham last time they were up. Ripping up the team spirit that got them promoted and over paying for poor players from a prem perspective.

In the know Bloke on one Boro saying we are paying £5m per loan for Muniz and Armstrong, meaning a £10m loan outlay, which I find hard to believe.Obviously to include wages , but still seems steep . I would tell them to stick it, surely we can scout players for that kind of money.

Muniz is reportedly on £7,700 per week or £400k per year at Fulham. If we're paying anything like £5m to loan him for the season it is utter madness. Are you sure we're not buying him for £5m?

absolutely no chance that that would be true. Zero chance. It won't even be close to that for the pair of them, where do these absolute whoppers get this rubbish from?

It'll be about 600k-1m each.

I will be Happy if we get Muniz and Armstrong , but, both have a lot to prove, which hopefully they will. I would love us to get form players such as Piroe, Riis , Gyokores , but if the fees are out of our reach I hope we have a couple of wild cards lined up to compliment them. We will soon know .
